YOU‘VE WALKED ABOUT IT.
YOU’VE TALKED ABOUT IT.
You’ve decided it’s time for a practice transition.
Now what?
Hello Doctor,
If you are contemplating purchasing a dental practice or selling your practice within the next five years, or if you are considering a merger or thinking of adding an associate or partner, please contact us. We are the Michigan Team Transition Analysts for Legacy Practice Transitions (LPT). LPT analysts have been educating and assisting dentists with their dental practice transitions since 1988. We find practice buyers who match up well with practice sellers, associates who fulfill practice requirements (and vice versa), and solutions to dentist transition situations that fit both dentists’ goals and needs. We have done this successfully with over 3,000 doctors in the course of over 1,500 dental practice transitions.
Many dental practice transition options are available. For example, a number of LPT’s pre-sale transition options are designed to allow the selling dentist to practice clinical dentistry after the practice sale for as much (or as little) time as he or she wishes to.
Our experience has confirmed that it is better to know, understand, and consider your transition options before you think it is necessary. This allows you to enter into your dental practice transition on your own terms. The worst time to think for the first time about your practice transition options is when circumstances force you to; that can happen in the veritable blink of an eye (to which we can attest). The best time to begin planning is now, and it costs you nothing more than a small portion of your time. Early planning will be time well spent!
Please feel free to contact us with questions you may have concerning your dental practice transition options. Whether you are a prospective practice seller or a practice purchaser, or are seeking an associate position, the importance of the confidential nature of your impending transition status cannot be overstated. Therefore, we are available to talk when you are. Aside from daytime correspondence, we are available evenings (until 10 PM) and weekends (after 12 noon). This is quite necessary because, during the course of a typical dental practice transition, we average over 50 phone calls with both our seller and buyer clients.
Best regards,

After completing his education at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1981, Dr. Kim Sena had a long-standing practice in Grand Rapids, MI. Upon retiring from full-time practice earlier than expected due to a chronic neck condition, he decided that his rich experience as a practice owner who had also been through his own transition was ideal for continuing in dentistry in a different realm; that of assisting other retiring dentists through their own transitions, and helping young dentists purchase their first practice or find an associate position. He also enjoys sharing his extensive dental and practice ownership experience with young dentists beginning their careers.
Erick Rupprecht received his DDS degree from the University of Detroit School of Dentistry in 1980. He then began his clinical career in Grand Rapids Michigan. Dr. Rupprecht has experience as a dental associate, a solo practitioner, a partner, a mentor, a practice purchaser and a practice seller. Erick has held many positions with the West Michigan District Dental Society, the Michigan Dental Association and the American Dental Association. After practicing over thirty years he retired from clinical dentistry due to a vision issue but continues to use his knowledge and experience to help colleagues as they purchase, grow or transition their practices.
